You can create a print template with a title block in CET Designer, using the Template frame tool. It is possible to either import an existing Cad title block (dwg/oxf) and load that into the print template or to create the title block yourself. After creating the print template with the title block, you can store this as a .tbl file and load into a print frame.
The visual appearance of the template frame tool in the drawing area corresponds exactly with a print frame, with the only difference that the lines are red instead of blue, and that it cannot be rotated (see Figure 1).
Figure 1
Below are some explanations to the template frame and its appearance in the drawing area:
The solid black line represents the edge of the paper selected.
The solid red line represents the edge of the area where the currently selected printer can print. Even if the paper size is the same, the actual area that can be accessed might differ between different brands and models of printers.
The manipulation area of the template frame is between the dotted yellow line and the solid black line. The template frame will generally cover the whole or a larger part of the drawing, so for convenience the template frame can only be manipulated by clicking the manipulation area.
You select the template frame by clicking the manipulation area.
The scale of the template frame is shown in the top-left corner, together with the name that you have entered for the specific frame.
A template frame can be scaled using the two yellow square snap points.
