You can add an extra floor area on the existing floor in your drawing to create a different appearance. The features for flooring are accessed from the Flooring area on the Wall drawing component tab (see Figure 1).

You can either add a rectangular flooring or a custom flooring.
To add a squared flooring, proceed as follows:
Click the Wall drawing component tab.
Click the Rectangular flooring icon in the Flooring field.
Move the mouse pointer to the 2D- or 3D view drawing area. A black rectangle follows.
Click the rectangle in place in the drawing area.
Adjust the rectangles length by moving the mouse pointer to the left or right without holding the mouse button. Click once.
Move the mouse pointer up or down and click once. You now have a squared flooring.
Right click the flooring in the 3D view and select the Floor and Ceiling option. The Floor and Ceiling dialog box appears.
Select desired flooring by clicking the Material button. The Select material dialog box appears.
Select desired color or texture.

To add a flooring with option shape, proceed as follows:
Click the Wall drawing component tab.
Click the Custom flooring icon in the Flooring field.
Move the mouse pointer to the 2D- or 3D view drawing area. A black line follows.
Click once to indicate the starting point of the flooring area.
Move the mouse pointer to the next point and click.
Proceed till
you have created a closed shape that matches the shape of the desired
flooring area.

Right click the flooring in the 3D view drawing area and select the Floor and Ceiling option. The Floor and Ceiling dialog box appears.
Select desired flooring by clicking the Material button. The Select material dialog box appears.
Select desired color or texture.
