Inserting an image in the drawing

The Bitmap image tool (see Figure 1) enables you to insert 24-bit Microsoft Windows bitmap images into the drawing area.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to the Tools component tab.

2. Under Text and Image, select the Bitmap image tool (see Figure 1) and click it into position in the 2D view.

3. Double-click the component. An Open dialog appears.

4. Browse for the desired bitmap image, select the file and click Open. You are now able to view the bitmap image in the drawing area.

5. To make the image larger and keep the image proportions, click and drag the yellow snap point in the bottom-right corner and stretch the image to the desired size.
