Activating Extensions

After downloading an Extension, you need a license to activate the Extension. There are two ways of getting a license, either you need to order a new license or your buyer have purchased a license for you that you have to activate.

 

To order a new license, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the My Extension button.    

  2. Click the Order Licenses button to the right. The Order Licenses Wizard appears.

  3. Follow the wizard and fill in the information required.

  4. Click Order in the last step in the wizard.

  5. Now, depending on your buyer, the extension will unlock immediately or you have to wait for approval from your buyer.

 

To activate a license, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the My Extension button.

  2. Click the Activate Licenses button to the right. CET Designer is now checking if one of your buyers have ordered a license for you. If this is the case, you will receive a message that your license has been activated. If it is the first time a specific buyer have purchased a license for you, the Activate Licenses dialog will appear when clicking the Activate Licenses button. Fill in the new buyer's E-mail address and the activation key that the he/she have sent to you.

 

 

Note: You can also be your own buyer. To be able to purchase a license you need to register yourself as a buyer. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Home section and click the License Buyer link. The Log in dialog box appears.

  2. Click the Create account button. The Registration wizard appears.

  3. Follow the wizard.
