Leader

The Leader feature makes it easier to point out objects in the drawing area. The leader will also be visible in the print out.

To place a leader, follow the steps below:  

1. Pick the leader from the Tools component tab (see Figure 1).

2. Move the mouse pointer to the drawing area.

3. Click the drawing area and release the mouse button.  

4. Stretch the leader to desired length.

5. Click the leader in place.

Modifying a leader

Select the leader after placing it in the drawing area. An input box opens with the following options (see Figure 3 below):  

• Two arrow heads: Check the Two arrow heads check box if you would like an arrow head on each end of the leader.

• Arrow head size: Choose how big the arrow heads should be by entering a value in the input field.  

• Line style: Choose what the leader should look like by selecting an option in the drop down menu.  

• Line color: Choose the color of the leader by clicking the Line color option.
