Changing backgrounds

You can change the background colour in the 2D and 3D drawing area.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the 3D component tab.

  2. Click Background (see Figure 1). The 3D background dialog box opens.  

  3. Choose a background and click Apply.

  4. The background colour will now change.

 

 

Note:

  • Some predefined background options is only applicable to the 3D view drawing area, e.g. gradient and "cloudy" backgrounds. If you select one of these options, the 2D view drawing area will turn to the standard background colour (beige).

  • If you select the Direct check box, the background is changed directly without having to first click Apply.

  • The change of background will not affect the print out background, that is white.
