The Security tab

On the Security tab you can make the following settings:  

  1. Auto-backup field: Select this checkbox if you wish CET Designer to save auto-backup files of your drawings. Read more >>

  2. Auto-save field: Select this checkbox if you wish CET Designer to save your work periodically while in process. Read more >>

    - Number if auto save files per drawing: Set how many auto saved drawings CET Designer shoule save per drawing (5 drawings are default).

    - Minutes between auto save: Decide how often your drawing should be auto saved during your work process. Choose a time interval between 5 - 90 minutes (9 minutes are default).

  3. Cleaning field:

    -     Rebuild language database: Click this option if you e.g. have problem with mixed languages on buttons or in dialog box.

    -     Removes old backup files: Removes auto-backup files and auto-save files.

    -     Erase all settings: Erase all settings made in CET Designer.

 

 

 

 

 

Note:

  • In most cases the options in the Cleaning field should only be used in consultation with the CET Designer Help desk.

  • Some users have experienced moments when CET Designer has seemed like frozen while auto saving in the background; this will not happen anymore. When an auto save is about to be done, CET Designer will try not to interrupt your work. If this is not possible you will receive a message telling you that CET Designer is in the process of auto saving your work and that this may take a moment.
